Registration Open for Senior Wellness Sensation

The 27th annual Senior Wellness Sensation is August 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ramkota Hotel in Bismarck.  The Senior Wellness Sensation is an educational and entertaining event for all seniors.  The goal of the program is to offer an affordable venue for seniors to obtain information about health and wellness topics in hopes of living a more active, independent lifestyle.

This year’s featured presenter is Nick Mezacapa.  Nick has been an Episcopalian priest for the past 28 years.  Prior to that, he worked as a teacher and athletics coach.  He brings his experience as teacher, coach, priest, husband and father to his presentations with passion and authenticity.  Nick’s experiences as a prostate survivor, radio personality and an active thespian combine to generate a style and urgency that is unique and one that has inspired audiences across the country.

Other presenters include audiologist Dr. Amy Mattheis, Bismarck Police Department Sergeant Troy Karlberg, Pharmacy Resident Amber Olek and Eldercare specialist Kristi Pfliger-Keller.  Musical entertainment is provided by Hungry 5 Band.  Topics addressed include neighborhood watch training and medication safety, among many others.
