Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - Neuroscience Center
Physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) is the branch of medicine emphasizing the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders that may produce temporary or permanent impairment. PM&R provides integrated care in the treatment of all neurologic and musculoskeletal disabilities from traumatic brain injury to lower back pain. They see patients in all age groups and treat problems that touch upon all the major systems in the body. The specialty focuses on restoring maximum function to people that has been lost through injury, illness or disabling conditions.

- Trigger point injections
- Fibromyalgia
- Functional capacity
- Chronic pain
- Stroke
- Gait & balance disorders
Referrals for patient evaluations in the neuroscience clinics are required. In some cases, a patient may request an appointment directly. Please call 701-530-6600 if you have any questions regarding referrals to the Neuroscience Center.
