Cost: A $20 fee will apply for the glucose, cholesterol and the bone density scan. The fee will cover all three tests or $20 for any one test. Pricing is subject to change.

The screenings include:
•height
•weight
•body mass index (BMI) & waist circumference
•blood pressure
•blood glucose
•cholesterol
•bone density heel scan
Participants should fast at least 2 hours prior to having their blood drawn.
Health screenings are not intended to replace a consultation with your physician. The goals of a health screening are to alert people of a health risk that might otherwise go undetected and recommend follow up with a physician as needed. The St. Alexius Community Health and Wellness Program provides education on the risk factors that increase one’s chances of developing a health condition as well as lifestyle choices that can help reduce those risks.
