Louise Murphy, MD
Dr. Louise Murphy joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in July 2003, as a board-certified family practice physician. She joined Mid Dakota following several years at the Mandan Family Physician Clinic. She also served as Associate Program Director and Assistant Dean of the UND School of Medicine, Southwest Campus, in Bismarck. A native of Carrington, Dr. Murphy received her medical degree from UND and completed her family practice residency at the UND Family Practice Center, Bismarck. She is married to Robert Biwer, DVM, and has three children. A member of the American and North Dakota Academy of Family Physicians, she is also a member of the American and North Dakota Medical Associations. Dr. Murphy is a certified breast cancer specialist and advisor to the Women’s Way Program. She was recently listed as one of America’s “best doctors” for families in the America’s Top Doctors directory by Castle Connolly Medical, as was published in the Ladies Home Journal magazine. Dr. Murphy is licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Dakota.
