Laura Fuerstenberg, FNP-C
Laura joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in February 1998, and currently staffs the University of Mary Student Health Clinic. She is also an advisor for Health PRO, a peer education group at the University of Mary. A native of Mandan, Laura received her undergraduate degree from Jamestown College in 1991, where she also taught health assessment labs. She attended the University of North Dakota, receiving her master of science degree, specializing in the family nurse practitioner program. Laura has worked as a registered nurse with St. Alexius Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit and as a flight nurse. She also worked in a rural clinic in Karlstad, Minnesota, as a family nurse practitioner. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the American College Health Association and the North Central College Health Association. She is licensed to practice in the state of North Dakota.
