Michael D. Jankoviak, MD is an anesthesiologist with the St. Alexius Heart & Lung Clinic. Dr. Jankoviak, originally from Indiana, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University in Indiana. He completed pre-med science courses at Metropolitan State College of Denver and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Dr. Jankoviak also completed his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Anesthesiology at University Hospital, Veteran’s Hospital, Denver Health and Hospitals, Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Hospital, Rose Medical Center and The Children’s Hospital – all in Denver, CO.

Dr. Jankoviak has conducted research on pediatric accidental and non-accidental head trauma findings in cranial CT images and evaluating securement alternatives for epidural catheters, as well as contributing to the establishment of a patient database for retrospective study evaluating treatment of ovarian cancer.

Dr. Jankoviak is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists; North Dakota Society of Anesthesiologists; American Society of Critical Care Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
