Stephan Markewich, MD has joined the St. Alexius Heart & Lung Clinic as a Specialist in Anesthesiology. Dr. Markewich received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences and Doctor of Medicine degree from Medical University of the American, West Indies. Dr. Markewich completed an internship and residency at the University of North Carolina’s Department of Anesthesiology, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He went on to serve as the Resident Education Chief for the department. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric & Neonatal Advanced Life Support.
