| CHI St. Alexius Health Employee Assistance Program has licensed and nationally certified addiction counselors available to provide substance abuse evaluations, referral networking, and alcohol and other drug test coordination as required under the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991.
A feature unique to CHI St. Alexius Health Employee Assistance Program is provision of Certified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) services for all organizations that are subject to compliance with federal regulations for alcohol and other drug testing protocol. The services are provided at no charge to organizations with the 8 session model under contract with EAP and to covered employees who are subject to the regulations. Currently there are 2 fulltime Licensed Addiction Counselors and Substance Abuse Professionals at the Bismarck office.
