Brent Herbel, MD

Dr. Brent Herbel joins Central Dakota Radiology as this region’s only Vascular and Interventional Radiologist. Dr. Herbel completed his medical degree at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, then finished residency training in diagnostic radiology with Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. He continued his training through a fellowship program in vascular interventional radiology through the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Herbel specializes in interventional radiology, bringing new medical technology to central and western North Dakota. As an interventional radiologist, he specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases of the arteries, kidneys, liver and other internal organs through methods involving radiologic procedures using small wires and catheters.
He is involved in many organizations including the American College of Radiology, Radiologic Society of North America, American Medical Association and the Christian Medical and Dental Society. Along with practicing medicine, Dr. Herbel enjoys sports, hunting, reading and music.
