Theresa Leer, FNP-C
Theresa joined Mid Dakota Clinic in October, 2001, and staffs the Lincoln Clinic. A native of Mandan, Theresa received several degrees from the University of Mary. The first degree is in Psychology, Social and Behavioral Sciences. She also has a bachelor and master’s degree in nursing. She also received her nurse practitioner training at the University of Mary. Theresa studied sports medicine at the University of North Dakota, where she worked as an athletic trainer.
Recently, Theresa has been working as an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner. In addition, her past medical experience includes sports medicine, psychiatry, women’s health and surgery. In pursuing her advanced nursing degree, she earned 1,000 hours in the practice of family medicine, and emergency medicine. She has been a lecturer at the University of Mary and the United Tribes School of Nursing.
Theresa is a member of the American Nurses Association, the North Dakota Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau, an honor society for nursing. She has also been inducted into Who’s Who of American Colleges and Universities. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Dakota.
