Billie Madler is a nurse practitioner at the Emergency Department of St. Alexius Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate degree in 1996 at the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND. Billie worked for several years as a crtical care nurse in the intensive care unit of St. Alexius Medical Center. She also served as a flight nurse during this time. Billie completed her Master’s of Nursing degree and requirements for the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Mary in the spring of 2001. While obtaining her graduate degree she taught women and children’s health clinicals, health assessment labs and nursing skills to undergraduate students.
Billie holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Trauma Nursing. She is licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Dakota and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the Kappa Upsilon Charter of Sigma Theta Tau, a nursing honor society. Also, she is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Billie joined the team at the St. Alexius Medical Center in May of 2001.
