

Dr. Amin joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in August 1988. He specializes in the treatment of disease related to blood (hematology) and cancer (oncology). He is certified as a Diplomate in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology. Dr. Amin’s special area of interest is the diagnosis and treatment of hematologic conditions.
A Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Amin is a graduate of St. Francis College, Nagpur, India. He received his medical degree from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, India, and completed his internship at the Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center – Down State University of New York, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine. In 1988, he completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Amin has also completed additional training in tranfusion medicine at Michael Reese Hospital/University of Chicago, and completed additional training in bleeding disorders at Northwestern University.
Dr. Amin is involved in clinical research for most cancer types and is affiliated with the North Central Cancer Treatment Group. He has published articles about breast cancer in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. Amin is licensed to practice medicine in Indiana and North Dakota and is a Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at the UND School of Medicine.
