Mark Monasky, MD
Mark Monasky, MD, JD, FACS, FCLM, neurosurgeon, earned a Medical Degree from Columbia University. He completed a General Surgery Internship and was a resident in General Surgery and Neurology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA.
Dr. Monasky completed additional residency training in Basic Research, Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Mayo Clinic and completed neurosurgery training at the University of Maryland and Shock Trauma Unit in Baltimore. In addition, Dr. Monasky completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery. Dr. Monasky also completed a law degree from the University of North Dakota.
Neurosurgery is the surgical specialty concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders that affect the spinal column, spinal cord, brain, nervous system and peripheral nerves.
