Kent Hoerauf, MD

Dr. Hoerauf has practiced at West River since 1984. He shares his life with his wife Shorty, and his two children Sarah and Andrew. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-certified in Geriatrics.
A native of Hebron, Dr. Hoerauf is a graduate of Hebron High School, has a BA in Zoology and Microbiology from NDSU, received his medical degree from UND School of Medicine, Grand Forks, and completed his internal medicine residency at V.A. and Affiliated Hospitals, Fargo.
Dr. Hoerauf is the director of respiratory therapy and the laboratory at West River. He also is the medical director of home health, member of ethics committee, and pharmacy and therapeutics committee. He is also a member of American College of Physicians, American Medical Assn., regional trauma committee, chairman of the State Trauma Committee of ND Emergency Health Services, and medical director for Five Counties Nursing home in Lemmon, member of Hettinger Chamber, Eagles and Hettinger Lutheran Church.
He serves Bowman, Hettinger, New England and Lemmon Clinics, traveling 610 miles a month, and he also travels 94 miles a month to an affiliated clinic in Faith. He is licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana.
