Niran Kotrapu, MD
Dr. Kotrapu joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in August 1973. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the Canadian Board of Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Kotrapu practices the specialty of Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology, including heart catheterizations, normal and high-risk newborns.
He received his medical degree from University of Medical Sciences, Thailand, and took eight years of post-graduate training which includes his pediatric residency at Germantown Hospital, Temple University Affiliate, Philadelphia, and his fellowship in pediatric caridiology at Temple University School of Medicine.
Dr. Kotrapu completed an additional teaching fellowship in pediatric cardiology and neonatal cardiology at Montreal Children’s Hospital, McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
A Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Kotrapu is licensed to practice his specialty in North Dakota and California. He serves as a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics for the UND School of Medicine and Director of Pediatric ICU, St. Alexius Medical Center.
