Our commitment to the health and wellness of children goes beyond our walls. We connect with kids, their families and communities by offering fun, free events focused on leading healthy lifestyles.
CHI St. Alexius Health is happy to partner with Kohl's Cares® for another year. With more than a decade of dedication and millions of dollars raised through Kohl's, CHI St. Alexius Health has been given the opportunity to give kids a happier and healthier future. From injury prevention, immunization and nutrition programs to scholarships and cause merchandise, Kohl's is committed to making a difference for kids so that some day they can make a difference in the world.
Kohl's creates children's merchandise, like books and stuffed animals, for $5. Through the sales of the merchandise, 100 percent of the net profits are donated to hospitals to support health and educational opportunities for children. Since its inception in 2000, the Kohl's Cares cause merchandise has raised more than $274 million to support kids' health and education initiatives in communities nationwide. Since 2006, Kohl’s has donated more than $213,000 to CHI St. Alexius Health.

Our goal is to educate children and caregivers about living a healthy lifestyle. CHI St. Alexius Health and Kohl's Cares® brings kids, parents and caregivers together for a day of health education and fun activities.
Featuring Alex’s Buddy Clinic!
Alex’s Buddy Clinic encourages children to bring their favorite stuffed animal or doll to the event to be “evaluated” by CHI St. Alexius Health nurses and doctors for a variety of pretend injuries, illness and back to school checkups. Other activities include educational booths, inflatables, games, healthy foods, prizes, emergency vehicles and personnel and free child identification cards.
