
Whether it’s caused by fire, flood or other elements you cannot control. An educational seminar is teaching people how to decompress your stress. Health experts say sometimes people take on too much responsibility and get stressed from it.
They say it’s important to understand what your stressors are and to know when to say no.
A free class offered today teaches ways to cope with anxiety such as breathing and relaxation exercises.
“The people today were really engaged in what they were doing and that’s creating individualized coping with stress plans that they can take with them and actually put into practice in their everyday life.” says Aly Downs, CHI St. Alexius Health.
The class is part of the Living Grand program.
