The Intensive Care
Unit is a 15 bed inpatient unit, for the use of life-sustaining measures for
temporary maintenance of persons with acute unstable conditions requiring
frequent assessments and interventions.
The predominate
patient populations served are adult and geriatric patients. Infrequently a
child, or adolescent patient may be served. The predominated diagnostic
groups served are: cardiac, pulmonary, medical, surgical and trauma. |
