Mahr, Nicholas – MD

Dr. Nicholas Mahr is an interventional cardiologist at the St. Alexius Heart & Lung Clinic. After receiving his medical degree from St. George’s University in St. George, Grenada, Dr. Mahr finished a residency in internal medicine at Hackensack Medical Center, Hackensack, N.J. He completed a fellowship in critical care at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, N.Y., and a fellowship in cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami, Miami Beach, Fla. In addition, he completed fellowships in noninvasive cardiology and interventional cardiology at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, Conn.
Dr. Mahr is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board certified in nuclear cardiology by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is board eligible in general and interventional cardiology as well as critical care medicine.
Dr. Mahr is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, American College of Physicians Society of Critical Care Medicine and American Society of Echocardiography.
