Marts, Boyd – MD, PhD

Dr. Boyd Marts is a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon at St. Alexius Heart & Lung Clinic. He received an undergraduate degree and a doctoral degree in anatomy at Indiana University, Bloomington, Ind. He then received his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine, in Bloomington and Indianapolis, Ind. Dr. Marts completed a residency in general surgery at St. Louis University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Mo., and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine.

He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Marts has authored several manuscripts and has been cited in numerous professional publications.
