Pierce, Troy – MD

Dr. Troy Pierce is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who holds a certificate of added qualification for hand and microvascular surgery. He is a member of the the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Society of Surgery of the Hand. He specializes in common and complex problems of the upper extremity such as carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist and elbow pain, and rotator cuff and shoulder problems.
A native of Bowman, North Dakota, Dr. Troy Pierce received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Dakota. He then attended the University of North Dakota Medical School where he received his Master’s degree in biochemistry and his Doctorate in medicine. After medical school, he spent five years training at Grand Rapids Orthopaedic Residency in Grand Rapids, MI. He then completed a one-year fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, PA in hand and microvascular surgery. He joined the Bone and Joint Center in 1998.
