Telecare CHI St. Alexius Health Telecare Network provides a two-way, private televised communication system to permit consultation between staff of the Employee Assistance Program in Bismarck and employees in a variety of communities throughout the state and surrounding region. This unique feature of CHI St. Alexius Health Employee Assistance Program allows greater access to EAP staff, and permits services to be provided in the same confidential manner as that provided with our clinicians through office visits. The network links employees and families with the Employee Assistance Program to permit clinical assessment, and to explore concerns related to functioning and circumstances in the home, community, and work environments. EAP professional staff provides administrators, managers, and supervisors with opportunities to engage in private, face-to-face management consultations and referral processes using the Telecare Network. The network also provides opportunities for workplace officials and employees to participate in educational and training presentations offered by EAP staff using the interactive video network. The Telecare Network is enhancing the way EAP services can be delivered in North Dakota and the surrounding region. The network offers a prompt, convenient and professional way for organizations and individuals in rural communities to have access to professional services and training through the staff of CHI St. Alexius Health Employee Assistance Program. |
