Radiology

Radiology Services provides medical imaging examinations involving the use

of x-rays, sound waves, or radioactive isotopes to gain important medical

information. St Alexius Radiology uses certified radiology technologists

who have received specialized education in the areas of patient care,

principles of radiation exposure, radiographic positioning, and radiation

protection. A Radiologist, a physician who has special training in the

diagnostic interpretation of medical images, is available at all times.

Our outpatient hours are 7:30 – 4:00

weekdays, but we are staffed 24 hours a day for inpatient and emergency

services. We are located in the Patient Services Center – use the 10th

street entrance for easy access.

If you are scheduled for a medical

imaging examination, you probably have some questions. These sections will

provide information about some of the most common imaging procedures. If

you have additional questions call the St Alexius Radiology Department at

530-5300 or 1-800-732-1142.
