Northern Plains Laboratory

Northern Plains Laboratory (NPL) is a full service independent, clinical laboratory, jointly owned by St. Alexius Medical Center and Pathology Consultants, PC. It provides comprehensive testing services to St. Alexius Medical Center, and outreach services to regional healthcare providers. The laboratory is located less than a block from St. Alexius Medical Center and is connected by pneumatic tube. The mission of Northern Plains Laboratory is to assist in providing quality patient care utilizing innovative diagnostic testing and exceptional customer service.
Northern Plains Laboratory is a state of the art laboratory with up to date instrumentation including a robotic sample processor. The recently built lab covers an area of approximately 10,000 square feet and employs over 80 staff members.
