Cardio Respiratory Monitoring
Apnea monitors are used to monitor heart rate and respiratory frequency for infants and gives an audible alarm when either parameters are outside a preset range.

 

Great Plains Rehab Named Quality Respiratory Services Provider

Great Plains Rehabilitation Services has received recognition as a “Provider of Quality Respiratory Care Services” by meeting all the requirements as established by the American Association for Respiratory Care. GPRS is the only company in North Dakota to receive this designation for five consecutive years. The requirements for the designation are as follows:

  • All respiratory therapists employed are legally recognized by the state as competent to provide respiratory therapy services.
  • Respiratory therapists are available to patients 24 hours every day.
  • Other personnel qualified to perform specific respiratory therapy procedures, and the amount of supervision required for them to perform these specific procedures, must be designated in writing.

The DME/Home Health Agency must be accredited by a nationally recognized, third party accreditation organization.
