Adult and Adolescent Psychology

Dr. Tara Feil provides Archway Mental Health Services Mandan Clinic Northoutpatient therapy for adults and adolescents at the CHI St. Alexius Health Mandan Medical Plaza and Archway Mental Health Services at CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck. Her professional areas of interest include health psychology, depression and anxiety, sleep problems, chronic pain, PTSD, stress management, and positive psychology.

Dr. Feil also provides consultation and treatment for individuals with physical health concerns interested in learning how what we do and how we think impact physical health. She works with individuals to improve physical and psychological health by developing sound health habits, managing stress and anxiety, and establishing helpful and accurate thinking patterns. She enjoys working with individuals with a variety of health concerns, including diabetes, heart disease, cancer, obesity, chronic pain, sleep difficulty, a desire to quit smoking, and more.

Dr. Feil has received training in a variety of evidence-based therapy approaches, including but not limited to:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT – I)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Social Skills Training (CBSST)
